Starting of a New Chapter

Welcome to Safe Corner. A place I hope everyone who enters feel welcomed and safe.

Before the establishment of Safe Corner, I have always been a person who likes to stay in her lane. A person who seeks the comfort of predictability. I worked in another private practice for 5 years and was loving my time there as it was comfortable. I had amazing colleagues and a wonderful boss lady whom I also call a friend. They, along with my very supportive husband, helped me through one of the toughest period of my life.

Life during the pandemic hasn't the easiest for most of us. I struggled. I struggled with not being able to visit my parents, who are abroad. I struggled to constantly come up with ideas to keep my toddler entertained. I struggled with significant personal loses during this time as well.

I needed a change. Something that I could call my own. Something that could keep me going. Something that I knew I could also use to perhaps help others who are in need. I wanted a platform to help others who feel safe enough to have a voice and freely articulate their thoughts, feelings and struggles.

So here it is. The start of my new chapter. A journey I have no idea where it would lead. I feel anxious and excited as the same time.

Do stay tuned for more blogs on resources I think you may find beneficial or perhaps even something a little more personal like this.
