ABOUT ME
Dr. Shannon Aiyuen Choong
I’m Shannon, a registered Clinical Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor with AHPRA based in Melbourne. I truly care about my clients’ well-being and am committed to provide evidence-based intervention and psychological services most suited for their needs. My treatment approach is guided by each clients’ presentation and strengths. My role as a psychologist is to guide one through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I believe that therapy is an active process that balances research, a clinician's expertise, client's cultural and family background, characteristics and preferences. I seek to learn as many approaches as I can in order to cater to a range of clients. It is my belief that therapy can be safe, non-judgmental and fun.

I graduated with a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) and have worked in several other private practices and not-for-profit organisation across Melbourne before deciding to set up my own practice. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and am able to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin.
